Elder Barber faithfully pastored Covenant Primitive Baptist Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee from 1998 until his death, December 2025. The congregation was a small one, but faithful, and through their continued support and attention to the word, Elder Barber preached each Sunday, and through the medium of the internet, his messages reached thousands of believers the world over.
